Epson launches EB-L270F laser projector to make large-scale collaborative learning more accessible

New 5,200-lumen Full HD laser projector delivers bright, scalable displays up to 310 inches, helping schools improve visibility, engagement and flexibility in the classroom

Epson has launched the EB-L270F, a new Full HD laser projector designed to give education institutions and businesses a bright, reliable and cost-effective alternative to flat panel displays.

Developed for classrooms, lecture spaces and meeting environments, the EB-L270F delivers 5,200 lumens of brightness and scalable projection up to 310 inches. This makes it particularly well suited to collaborative learning, where lesson content, shared ideas, digital resources and group work need to be clearly visible to every student in the room.

Unlike fixed-size flat panel screens, large-scale projection allows educators to create a display that fits the learning space, rather than limiting content to a smaller screen area. This helps improve visibility across the classroom, supporting whole-class participation and making it easier for students to engage with shared content, whether they’re viewing presentations, videos, lesson materials or collaborative work.

The EB-L270F combines native 1080p resolution with laser reliability and flexible installation options. It can be installed on the ceiling, floor or wall and can also be mounted on a lighting track, giving schools and businesses greater freedom to adapt their display technology to different rooms and teaching styles.

The EB-L270F also supports Epson’s wider commitment to reliable, lower-maintenance laser projection. With mercury lamp projectors set to exit the market in February 2027 due to RoHS regulations, the EB-L270F provides a competitive 5,200-lumen-class laser solution for organisations moving away from lamp-based technology.

The projector offers flexible content source options including HDMI, local content playback via memory card, optional wireless connectivity and Miracast via the ELPAP11 adaptor. It is also compatible with Epson software including Epson Creative Projection, Epson Projector Content Manager, Epson iProjection and Epson Projector Management, helping users create, manage and share content more easily (ELPAP11 adaptor required)
