Epson launches professional 4K home laser projector range
The EH-Q series brings cutting edge technology and large bright images up to 1000 inches for a superior home entertainment experience
Epson has introduced three new high end professional home laser projectors to form a new range of high-end lifestyle projectors. The EH-Q series includes the EH-QB1000W/B, EH-QL3000W/B and EH-QL7000W/B with each bringing an immersive, professional quality, vibrant experience to turn any space from dedicated media spaces to well-lit living areas, into a cinema. Whether its watching movies, sports or gaming, the range delivers cutting edge technology, bright images up to 1000” in a compact and easy to set up design.
Each projector is powered by advanced 3LCD laser technology to deliver 4K super resolution images (3840 x 2160) of up to 300 inches for the EH-QB1000 and an incredible 1,000 inches for the higher end EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000.m The EH-QL7000 is 10,000lm for ultra-bright engaging experiences, while the EH-QL3000 has 6,000lm and the EH-QB1000 has 3,300lm. These levels of brightness allow the ultimate viewing experience in multiple environments without restricting installation.
With a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for well-defined shadows and even deeper blacks, these Professional Home projectors also feature a range of advanced image enhancement technologies, such as 4K frame interpolation to ensure smooth images, and super resolution to preserve detail in every scene.
With advanced features such as Dynamic Tone Mapping to enhance visual quality on a frame-by-frame basis, and HDR10+ for the EH-QB1000 and HDR10 for the EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000, for more vivid and lifelike colours, the new projectors deliver an outstanding viewing experience for both movies and sport. With HDMI 2.1 connectivity, a 4K/120hz refresh and Auto Low Latency Mode, they offer a smooth gaming experience, while spectacular image quality and large screen size make them ideal for sport simulation.
At the higher end of the range, the EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000 are compatible with a wide range of interchangeable lenses, and can be easily configured to provide the desired image size, at optimal quality, in any media space. Options such as an ultra-short throw, zero-offset lens that allows them to be discreetly installed on surfaces such as ceilings are included. The interchangeable lenses also mean that the throw distance can be adjusted easily to project images from different distances without moving the projectors.
Compatible with a wide range of IP control systems, the projectors can be integrated with existing installations and offer many other benefits, such as simple customisation. The motorised lens shift with large range, coupled with motorised zoom and focus, make the projectors fast and easy to set up, while its near-instant warm-up and cool-down times contribute to its outstanding convenience, energy-efficiency and long (20,000 hour) laser life. Plus, its integrated Crestron, Control4 and RS232C/wired LAN support means the range can be easily integrated into a Smart Home Network to give an even more convenient viewing experience.
Ben White, product manager for the professional home projectors at Epson Europe said: “This is an exciting new range for Epson and we are confident all three projectors will be a huge success. Demand for large screen entertainment, with high quality images in bright living spaces or media rooms has never been greater. These professional home projectors offer seamless integration into bright environments without compromise, and come packed with technology and features to make these attractive for any film, entertainment, sport or gaming enthusiasts looking for a more immersive experience.”
