ISE 2026: Epson launches new professional display and education projectors, with new lens range

New 30,000-lumen 4K projector and new interactive ultra-short-throw projector debut on stand J100, Hall 3

Barcelona, 3 February 2026 – Epson at ISE announces two new projectors with a new lens range, expanding its line-up for both large-scale professional displays and education.

Launching on Epson’s stand J100 in Hall 3, the new products include the EB-XQ2030B, the world’s smallest and lightest 30,000-lumen 4K projector[1] for high-brightness installation and rental applications, the EB-870Ei, a new interactive ultra-short-throw education projector, and a new series of lenses supporting the full high brightness projector range from 6,000 to 30,000 lumens.

Epson is showcasing its new product launches within Infinity, a multi-sensory projection installation that invites visitors into an ever-shifting journey of light and colour. Inspired by the movement of a photon through space and time, the installation surrounds audiences with reflections, fluid motion, and brightness, demonstrating how projection can create immersive environments that engage the senses.

As the focal point of Epson’s ISE presence, Infinity brings together people, products, and ideas — illustrating the creative and experiential power of projection for large venues and digital signage.

“At ISE 2026, we want people to do more than simply look at projection — we want them to see it and feel it,” said Massimo Pizzocri, Vice President, Epson Europe. “Our stand is designed to immerse visitors in the power of light, showing how projection can shape spaces, create emotion, and deliver experiences that go far beyond the screen. Whether in large-scale installations, signage, education, meeting rooms or home entertainment, Epson continues to push the boundaries of what projection can achieve.”

EB-XQ2030B: New 30,000-lumen 4K projector for large displays, rental and demanding installations.

Epson today launched the EB-XQ2030B, a new 30,000-lumen 4K projector designed for rental and staging, visitor attractions, themed entertainment, commercial signage, immersive spaces and digital art installations, as well as selected corporate and higher education environments.

Designed to make 30,000-lumen projection more accessible, the EB-XQ2030B combines Epson’s 3LCD technology with 4K Crystal Motion to deliver ultra-high brightness and detailed 4K images in a compact form factor. Epson describes EB-XQ2030B as the world’s smallest and lightest 30,000-lumen 4K projector*, setting a new benchmark for versatility in this class. The EB-XQ2030B is aimed primarily at the rental and staging sector where transporting, rigging and deploying multiple high-brightness projectors is routine, but it is also intended for fixed installation projects where size, weight and installation flexibility are important.

Epson has a proven track record of growing and leading the market segments it enters. The combination of image quality, size, weight and price point is intended to drive further adoption of 30,000-lumen projection and support market growth across rental, staging and fixed installation applications.

Epson’s drive towards producing lightweight, compact and more efficient products without compromising on quality means that the environmental impact of the EB-XQ2030B is considered throughout each stage of the manufacturing process. This includes consideration of raw materials, packaging and waste products, energy consumption from logistics, storage requirements and operating power consumption.

The EB-XQ2030B expands Epson’s market leading position in 4K projection to the 30Klm+ market, with an all-new flagship 30,000-lumen 4K projector.

At ISE 2026, Epson is demonstrating the EB-XQ2030B in hall 3 on stand J100 using the new ELPLU07H short throw lens, projecting onto a large convex curved screen. The demonstration is designed to show how high-brightness projection can deliver consistent large-format visuals on complex surfaces.

Key design and installation features include:

  • 30,000 lumens brightness and 4K resolution using Epson’s 4K Crystal Motion technology
  • Compact and lightweight design intended to improve transportability and simplify installation for rental fleets and large venues
  • Enhanced lens line-up with complete throw ratio coverage (0.39–11:1) and new lens designs, including L-shaped and straight UST options
  • Advanced Cooling Engine to manage internal temperatures of the laser light source and optical components
  • SDM slot compatibility for expandable connectivity options, including support for AVoIP and media player modules depending on installation requirements. Epson will support SDM boards from HIVE, Matrox and Apantac from launch.

  • Built-in camera assist functionality, including Simple Stacking and Blending, plus compatibility with Epson Projector Professional Tool (EPPT) and Epson Projector Config Tool software.

The EB-XQ2030B is supported by the new H Series lens range, a single, enhanced line-up covering brightness from 6,000 to 30,000 lumens. The new range features expanded throw ratio coverage and innovative new lens designs to fit an even wider range of installation environments. Epson’s new lens range will be will also be showcased at ISE 2026.

The EB-XQ2030B will be available in Summer 2026 (regional availability to be confirmed).
