PaperFight crafting champion is crowned

Epson is proud to announce that the EcoTank PaperFight champion of 2016 has been crowned. With entries from Spain, Portugal, France and the UK, the jury faced a tough job whittling down the entries to just a winner per country and one overall winner.

The family-friendly crafting competition centred upon five paper toy templates: a Sassy Fish, Chirping Bird, Cheeky Monkey, Epic Elephant and a Majestic Lion. Epson challenged contestants to get creative with the paper toys - from customising the individual paper toys, to creating unique and exciting backdrops to place them within. Entry to the competition was simple; the contestants had to submit their favourite photo of their creations to the PaperFight website.

The overall winner, Marisa Jesus from Portugal, created an unusual display with the Chirping Bird disguised as a fox nestled amongst a gathering of origami foxes. In the UK, winner Mohammed Anam fashioned a fun take on the three wise monkeys with the Cheeky Monkey. In France, Michel Del Piccolo was awarded for his Chirping Bird set amongst the trees and decorated with a plume of feathers and glitter. And in Spain, the winning entry from Juan Francisco Marin Morales featured a dreamlike jungle with origami creatures and the Majestic Lion taking pride of place. 

The winners each received an ET-3600 EcoTank printer, trophy, paper bundle and an exclusive Epson PaperFight T-shirt. In addition, the overall winner also received an Epson EB-U04 projector, perfect for watching family movies at home. To thank everyone that took part in the competition, Epson also provided a 15% off voucher code that could be redeemed in the Epson store against any EcoTank product.

About the EcoTank ET-3600
