11 February 2020.  Epson – the world’s number one projector manufacturer - will showcase its new 30,000 lumens laser projector (the EB-L30000U) on stand H90, Hall 1 at ISE this year. This high-end installation laser projector will be shown double stacked to demonstrate how to achieve an impressive and cost efficient 60,000 enhanced 4k lumens solution.

This year at ISE, Epson will be showing a range of new AV solutions for business, education and retail, new products on stand include:

  • A new Ultra Short Throw lens (ELPLX03) for the 30k and 25k high lumens laser projectors. Epson is the only projector manufacturer to offer a zero offset UST solution for all its interchangeable lens models ranging from 5,500 to 30,000 lumens.

#EpsonUnboxed is this year’s show-stopping projection mapping spectacular. The visually stunning installation revolves and transitions through eight distinct and complex scenes displaying a variety of intricate graphics and projection mapping effects. The scenes have been designed as a linear story, which gradually builds with a crescendo to culminate in a finale reveal, unveiling a real Formula One racing car.

Neil Colquhoun, Vice President - CISMEA & professional displays, Epson Europe, says: “This is our most comprehensive AV line-up to date, demonstrating Epson’s complete range of 4k enhanced installation laser projectors and interchangeable lenses - from the very high end 30,000 lumens EB-L30000U to entry level ProAV laser projectors. We have successfully grown our signage solutions for retail and hospitality, as well as completing a unique range of UST projectors for education and corporate markets, and we will have even more to announce later in the year.”

Additional highlights on the stand include a demonstration of Moverio smart glasses used for visitors experience in association with Emozionella and Toledo Train Vision. Visitors to the stand can travel on a recreated tourist train and – wearing Moverio smart glasses – discover the beautiful city of Toledo fully enhanced by augmented reality and recreated using Epson’s high lumens projectors.

“Augmented reality is fast coming of age, with many applications having moved from proof of concept to mainstream implementation. Our work with Toledo Train Vision is a wonderful example; showing how smart glasses are now being used by the tourist industry to enhance the visitor experience. This example is one of many practical applications for augmented reality across a diverse range of sectors from retail, healthcare and education to remote assistance, entertainment, museums and visitor attractions.” says Valerie Riffaud Cangelosi, Head of New Market Development – Epson EMEA.
