Absolut Media chooses Epson inkjet printers

Absolut Media is a Budapest-based magazine publisher with over 15 print publications in its portfolio, including lifestyle, brand and business magazines. It also publishes online magazines, develops apps and organises various trade conferences.

Before acquiring an Epson printer, Absolut Media's printing processes were complicated and time-consuming. The company needed scanning and colour printing, which its previous printer did not offer, as well as reliable, rapid and cost-effective printing, as staff needed to print a lot of documents during their work. The publisher therefore decided to purchase an Epson WorkForce Pro WF-5620 DWF.

The WF-5620DWF multifunction printer combines the key advantages of low running costs, low power consumption, high printing speed and functions, enabling seamless business integration, such as automatic double-sided printing, scanning, copying and faxing.

Absolut Media staff discovered that that the Epson printer was simple to use, thanks to an intuitive colour touchscreen which gives immediate access to the various functions. They also found that the ink cartridges are easy to replace.

The WF-5620DWF prints documents reliably and at a consistently high quality level, reducing the need to reprint defective pages, and so saves on paper wastage. As a result Absolut Media has seen its paper consumption decrease by 15 percent. 

Absolut Media are happy with a printer that is quiet, does not disrupt office work, supports direct printing from and scanning to a USB memory stick and also features an encrypted printing function, using a PIN code to assign tasks. The printer has streamlined their internal administration and boosted work efficiency.
