Epson will also be showcasing its innovative range of ColourWorks on-demand colour label printers, featuring the CW-C4000and CW-C6000, designed to invigorate retail labelling with the use of colour and demonstrate how e-retailers can transform standard black-and-white shipping labels into vibrant, colourful and engaging marketing tools.

Key features on Epson’s stand (D40, Hall 9) at EuroCIS this year include:

  • The latest model in the TM-m30 series of mobile POS printers, designed to meet the needs of specialist retailers, small restaurants, coffee shops, food trucks and kiosks. Featuring a stylish all-new design, the new TM-m30IIIretains all the functionality and compactness of previous models, while adding modern connectivity options (USB Type-C) and improved speed.
  • Epson’s recently upgraded TM-P seriesof portable thermal receipt printers. The upgraded products will not only further enhance the user experience in existing markets, such as retail and hospitality, but unlock potential for use in new markets, including in-vehicle applications. All products in the TM-P series can be hand-held, mounted onto a belt, or shoulder carried (accessories optional), and include a Desktop Mode (rubber feet), as a convenient alternative to a fixed station printer.
  • The TM- m30II-SLwhich was developed directly in response to requests by ISVs and customers. The new mPOS printer is beautifully designed and recent winner of a prestigious iF-World Product Design Award. The TM-m30II-SL features a low profile, highly stable and ergonomic design with flexible installation that can be easily secured to a wall or tablet and removed as required.
  • Epson’s innovative range of ColourWorkscolour label printers, featuring the CW-C4000and the CW-C6000, designed to transform retail labelling with the use of colour. Epson will demonstrate how retailers can transform standard black-and-white labels into vibrant, colourful and engaging marketing tools that also help streamline logistics, reduce errors and even lower costs associated with shipping and inventory management. Epson will demonstrate the unique advantages of using colour shipping labels for e-tailing and show how colour can transform customer engagement. It will also demonstrate how colour labels can benefit supermarkets when weighing and packaging fresh food products.
  • Epson’ latest TM-L100 liner free printerwhich is designed to fit seamlessly into any environment.  With sleek metallic front panel finish matching any kitchen décor, the compact printer has a small footprint that doesn't take up valuable counter space. A new silicon laminate surface makes the product easy to clean and prevents labels from sticking to it. Easy to use, time saving and reliable, TM-L100 liner free printer has been designed specifically for click & collect, instore labelling, takeaway and deliveries. The printer produces clear, legible labels without the need to peel backing paper and supports media with a wide range of adhesives (e.g. permanent, removable, resistant to extreme temperatures).
  • Visitors to Epson’s stand can also see a special ‘robot labelling’ demonstration using two ColorWorks printers, a smart camera, and an Epson robot. The demonstration shows how robots can be used for labelling in the pharmaceutical industry that requires bespoke labelling for different sized drug containers. The automated process removes any human handling, necessary for certain medications, and eliminates potential human labelling errors.

“We welcome visitors to our stand at EuroCIS this year,” said Oliver Rudling, Product Manager for Epson Europe’s TM-P and TM-m30 series. “As global leader in mPOS print technology, Epson has built a reputation for supporting businesses with innovative and truly fit-for-purpose solutions that meet their needs. Jacob Kallergis, Product Manager for Epson Europe’s on-demand labelling solutions, added: “We are really excited to show how colour labels on-demand can totally transform a retail offering and drive better and more profitable customer engagement.  By introducing colour into labels, retailers can communicate information in a more engaging way, enhance brand visibility, increase awareness of special discounts and offers and even draw customer attention more closely to vital health information such as allergens and nutrition.”
