Epson’s new 4K technology earns confidence of rental industry

Epson, the world’s leading projector brand[1] and market leader in professional displays in EMEA[2] is delighted to announce that its latest 4K new ultra-lightweight high-lumens 3LCD projector range, introduced at ISE in 2023, has secured significant orders from rental partner AED Display that will firmly establish it as the manufacturer of choice in this segment.

Massimo Pizzocri, Vice President Video Projector Sales & Marketing Division at Epson. “With AED Display we are proud to have earned the confidence of one of the industry’s most valued and knowledgeable rental partners. Epson projectors have become the industry benchmark for quality, reliability and flexibility, built not only to exceptional standards but also designed with customers at forefront of mind. Our interchangeable lenses offer unique convenience combined with real cost savings and our projectors are each scaled to fit with industry standard cage sizes and flight cases.”

Epson’s 4k technology has combined its patented, state-of-the-art 4K Crystal Motion, panel thermo-control and double micro-lens array technologies to achieve optimal clarity. All this tech has been packed into the world’s smallest and lightest 4K 10,000 and 20,000 lumens projectors.

Thierry Heldenbergh, Managing Director of AED Display, commented: “Epson’s newest 4K projection technology has set the industry benchmark for exceptional image quality, versatility, ease-of-use and customer value. Our customers demand top quality immersive solutions that are reliable and easy to install and Epson has shown us, time and time again, why it is becoming the manufacturer of choice in the high-lumens rental sector. We were similarly impressed by the company’s continuous investment in solutions that meet market needs alongside a commitment to outstanding customer service and technical support.”

Epson’s EB-PQ2000 range offers AED’s customers with a range of benefits including custom built 4K graphic processing, with the latest chipset providing significant improvements in operating frequency, memory bandwidth and data transmission for a seamless 4K experience. The series also provides additional versatility and is compatible with the ELPEC01 optional camera unit, which provides the benefit of upgraded assistance techniques, such as built-in simple stacking and blending. In addition, Epson’s free EPPT software gives the user access to even more features, including geometric correction, colour calibration and multi-projection assistance tools.

“As the world’s leading projector manufacturer, we have listened very closely to our customers and rental partners like AED Display.  We believe our new series of projectors answers the market need for more compact, space-saving, lighter, reliable and versatile high lumens display solutions,” adds Massimo Pizzocri. “With this exciting announcement we hope our technology will earn its position as the industry standard and leader in this part of the market.”
