Founded in 1949, Columbus Clinic Centre is a private nursing home in Milan offering high-quality medical and surgical services. To this end, it uses state of the art equipment: the recent "hybrid" theatre and operating theatres equipped with robotic surgical systems demonstrate the attention paid to the constant evolution of medicine.

"The Columbus clinic is completely private," says Angelo Bresciani, technical director of Columbus Clinic Centre. "It operates in the health sector with 130 beds, exclusively in single rooms. We have six operating theatres, a hybrid theatre, three intensive care units, and resonance, CT, X-ray and mammography departments. We need to operate with a fast and punctual administration so that quotes are communicated to insurance companies in good time. Hence we needed efficient office equipment."

"We were looking for fast and reliable printers but above all, printers that didn't produce emissions into the environment," explains Bresciani. "This is the feature which compelled us to select Epson WorkForce multifunction printers."

During the initial visit to the clinic, the Epson dealer analysed our needs and criticalities, which in his opinion the Epson WorkForce would have no problem resolving. Some test models were then installed inside the facility and the results were surprising: not only did everything work correctly, but the innovation was immediately accepted by the staff. So the clinic decided to install 100 multifunction printers in various departments.

"I think this fully met the clinic's requirements," said Roberto Caroni, the owner of Ci.Erre Ufficio. "The problem was certainly technical in nature: the printers we used to have often required maintenance, which resulted in mechanical downtimes.
