Epson introduces the next generation tablet-based mPOS solution for ISVs in the retail and hospitality sector
21 September, 2020 – World leading POS printer manufacturer Epson[1] has launched a new generation device designed for mPOS ISVs (independent software vendors) to transform retail and hospitality counter spaces with its flexible installation, compact design and integrated print and display[2].
The TM-m30II-S will be available for ISVs to order from October 2020 and is aimed at independent retailers such as pop up shops, cafés, restaurants and street food vendors as well as offering a compact solution for self-service or self-ordering.
The design-led approach of the TM-m30II-S enables a neat counter that avoids clunk and allows a more optimised use of space for the retail operation or to create a more chic and tidier environment for the customer.
The optional second customer facing tablet, provides an ideal solution for retailers who want to display additional rich content such as videos, images and interactive options for example receiving an e-receipt. Secure tablet mounting offers peace of mind for the vendor.
Retailers don’t need to be IT gurus to set up and use the TM-m30II-S. It has been designed to be a highly intuitive out-of-the-box solution with intelligent features and connectivity options.
Liam Parry, Product Manager, Business Systems at Epson said, “Through close partnerships with app developers, Epson understands that experience is fundamental to tablet POS. Users expect a seamless journey through setup and deployment, while their guests appreciate a visually clean and easy to navigate purchase experience.
“With TM-m30II-S, Epson is empowering ISV’s to deliver a sleek, integrated solution with low footprint, at an affordable cost. The combination of Epson quality with support for virtually all tablets, as well as the capability to add customer interaction through a second display, will resonate with developers and end users alike.”
