Showcasing innovation in robotics on stand 311, hall B5.

Epson, a leading manufacturer of robotic solutions with over 40 years’ experience in automation, announces its presence at automatica 2025 in Munich, Germany. Under the theme "innovation driven by experience" visitors to Epson’s stand 311, hall B5 will see many innovative products, including a new high-payload LS50 SCARA robot and Epson’s updated GX-C series.

In addition, Epson will be making an exciting and major new product announcement just ahead of the show, demonstrating its commitment to innovation in robotics.

New Epson products on stand at automatica this year include:

  • High Payload SCARA LS50: Epson introduces its first SCARA robot with a remarkable 50 kg payload capacity. The LS50 is specifically designed for mastering EV battery handling, enriching the LS series with superior performance and productivity. Despite its powerful capabilities, the LS50 maintains a space-saving footprint, making it suitable for various manufacturing environments.
  • GX-C Series: The newly updated GX-C series of SCARA robots presents enhanced precision and performance across various payload options (1kg, 4kg, 8kg, 10kg, and 20kg). With standardisation on the new RC800 controller, the GX-C series promises high speed, high precision, and excellent duty cycles, all while offering space-saving benefits in production lines.

In addition to new products on stand, Epson will showcase an extensive display of partner applications that highlight the versatility and efficiency of its robotic solutions. These include:

  • Hupico: Featuring a compact Pick & Place cell designed for micro-picking and precision handling of small electronic components, powered by the Epson SCARA G1 robot.
  • Zorn: Showcasing a micro machining centre tailored for high-precision tasks in the medical and metal industries, utilising the Epson N2 6-axis robot.
  • Ima-Tec: Highlighting a flexible handling cell that automates sorting and reorientation of components with the Epson T3 SCARA robot.
  • Compar: Presenting a robotic cell that performs high-precision bin picking and sorting using an Epson C8 6-axis industrial robot with an integrated 3D vision system.
  • Steimel: Featuring the ZPAL palletiser, which automates the palletising and de-palletising of parts with the Epson Spider RS4.
  • Epson Demo Cell: Direct to Surface Printing with the S800 printhead, combining a C-Series 6-axis robot with a linear-motion printhead for high-quality printing on curved surfaces.

Visitors can also enjoy hands-on demonstrations of Epson’s successful Epson RC+ and RC+ Express Edition software, as well as view the latest controller, the RC800, which provides enhanced capabilities for robotics programming and control.
