Epson launches hassle-free, low-cost printing solution to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact of employees working from home
October - With many employees across MEA still working from home, Epson has timely launched the EcoTank L6580. The multifunction ink-tank printer delivers superb quality and hassle-free printing at an ultra-low cost-per-page, with users able to print for many months without needing replacement ink.
Powered by Epson’s Heat-Free technology, the EcoTank L6580 consumes significantly less energy than equivalent laser printers, and as it requires no warmup time, is able to print immediately, improving workflow and productivity.
Recent research suggests that a simple switch from home and small office laser devices to Epson inkjets could reduce energy consumption across key MEA markets by up to 12 million kWh annually1 – or save in excess of $1.4m million2.

The printer offers a range of features including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to print from almost anywhere, a 4.3” touchscreen LCD panel for easy navigation, multiple paper trays, print speeds of up to 25 pages per minute and a first page out time of just 5.5 seconds. It is also features edge-to-edge printing to help users achieve outstanding results on special projects.
