Epson expands its range of SureColor photo printers
Epson has added two new photo printers to its range of SureColor printers. Suited to photographers, artists, architects, real-estate agents and advertising and design agencies, the Epson A3+ SureColor P-600 and A2 SureColor P-800 printers are the best solution for top-quality image prints.
Speed and quality are not mutually exclusive
Ideal for amateur and semi-professional photographers who are looking for a fast, flexible and easy-to use printer, the SureColor SC-P600 is Epson's top-of-the-range A3+ photo printer. Designed for superior productivity, the printer outputs an 11 x 14 inch print in only 153 seconds.
“Twin paper paths enable printing on a wide variety of photo and fine art papers, canvas and thick media, making this printer perfect for any business that has a regular requirement for high-quality colour presentations”, says Vernon Mellors, business account manager at Epson South Africa.
Catering to the mobility needs of photographers worldwide, for the first time on a single-function A3+ photo printer, Epson Connect is supported as well as Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.
Media switching has never been easier
The Epson SureColor SC-P800 ProPhoto printer was created for professional photographers and artists wishing to produce true-to-life photos on a range of media. Perfect for large print runs, the printer uses large 80ml ink cartridges meaning fewer trips to change the ink, and new roll paper options are capable of producing high-impact panoramic images
“Not only is the SC-P800 the first A2 desktop printer on the market with an optional roll paper unit, it is also the only A2 product in the marketplace to feature a 2.7” colour touch panel1 to help users easily switch between printing on different medias”, says Mellors.
Users can also easily print from a number of devices, including tablets, PCs and smartphones, thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. A new sleek, modern design means the printer has the smallest footprint of any A2 printer on the market1 and it fits well where space is an issue, at home or in the studio.
Both printers feature Epson’s Ultrachrome HD ink, a new nine-colour ink-set that produces excellent quality prints and the industry’s highest black density2, meaning users can print photos with a stunning range of accurate colours and dense blacks.
The P600 and P800 are available at a recommended retail price of R11 875.00 and R21 940.00 respectively (excluding VAT).
