Best ever colour laser from Epson helps small businesses cut the cost of printed materials

September 2012- Providing businesses with  a cost-effective,  in-house alternative to outsourcing printed materials, Epson has launched the WorkForce AL-C500DN series; a range of high-speed, easy to use colour laser printers that offer flexible media handling and professional print output.

Boasting Epson’s widest ever colour gamut on a laser product, the range also combines a 1,200 dpi native resolution with Epson’s Resolution Improvement Technology (RiT) to deliver a 4,800 RiT output for crisp, sharp text and clear images with smooth gradation and tonality.

The range offers print speeds of up to 45 pages per minute, while its high-capacity toner cartridges and paper trays, and 120,000 page duty cycle, ensure it can handle demanding, long-run print jobs and high monthly print volumes.  Network capabilities mean it’s easily integrated into existing systems and default duplex printing ensures that paper use is maximised.

The ability to handle a wide variety of media such as extra-thick, coated and pre-printed papers means that marketing materials such as leaflets and flyers can be produced with ease.

Elise Delarue, product manager, Epson Europe, said: “These printers are ideal for companies who are looking for cost effective solutions to create high-quality, professional marketing materials and business documents in-house. Businesses can reduce the need for outsourcing print jobs and easily produce their own materials, ultimately saving money.

“Furthermore, byprinting documents and marketing materials in-house, businesses can manage their print volume more accurately by printing on demand, reducing the risk of over-production or having out-of-date information listed on materials.  This in turn reduces waste and storage requirements.”
