Epson comes together with Smit Visual at ISE

Reflecting the latest workplace trends, Epson Europe has formed a partnership with Smit Visual, an innovative Dutch manufacturer specialising in creative and large whiteboards. Providing a link between digital and analogue working methods, Epson’s range of corporate and educational projectors are ideal for use with Smit Visual’s Chameleon whiteboard solutions. Customers will be able to see the products working in tandem at the ISE exhibition, 6-9 February 2018, on Epson’s stand 1-H90 and Smit Visual’s stand 14-M130.

Hans Dummer, business unit director, Epson Europe, says, “We’re really excited to be working with Smit Visual and ISE gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate how well the products work together.”

“Customers are increasingly looking for an integrated way of working when it comes to small and medium sized meeting rooms and classrooms. Essentially, it’s not a case of choosing either digital or analogue – it’s about seamlessly integrating a range of tools to encourage creativity and allow people to work intuitively. For example, by installing Epson projectors with Smit Visual’s Chameleon whiteboards, the user can simultaneously project information and brainstorm with colleagues on the adjacent whiteboard. The iProjection app completes the cycle - the user can photograph the whiteboard with their smartphone and share and project it through the app.”

Smit Visual is known for producing frameless, high-grade, white enamelled steel whiteboards and projection boards. Its boards can be cut into almost any imaginable size and shape, allowing the customer to commission a board that compliments both the interior design and requirements of the room. Its new Chameleon range is designed with projection in mind, offering a wipeable surface that can also be projected on to, thanks to its anti-glare surface. Complimentary panels can be positioned together to allow the user to both project information and utilise a whiteboard at the same time. Offering a range of solutions, Chameleon whiteboards are suitable for all of Epson’s corporate and educational projectors.

Robert Schaefer, commercial director, Smit Visual, says, “Our customers aspire to create unique and stimulating working environments where ideas can flow without interruption. That’s why we’re partnering with Epson - with our combined knowledge we can offer our customers an impressive and inspiring digital and analogue experience.“

Epson projectors and Smit Visual whiteboards will be on show together at ISE exhibition, 6-9 February 2018, on Epson’s stand 1-H90 and Smit Visual’s stand 14-M130.
