The 10-colour SC-S80610 printer can now accurately reproduce 98.2% of PANTONE Solid Coated Colours
Epson is pleased to announce its flagship SureColor creative signage printer – the 10-colour SC-S80610 – has achieved 98.2% of PANTONE Solid Coated Colours1 under the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM®, as evaluated and certified by Pantone.
This makes it a compelling proposition for sign makers, developers and events organisers looking for a guarantee that finished signage will match original artwork exactly.
Richard Barrow, senior product manager, Epson Europe, says, “Pantone is the undisputed standard for colour precision, everyone knows that. So for us to be able to prove 98.2% Pantone spot colour accuracy is incredibly important. This gives the SC-S80610 a massive advantage in its field, and should assure prospective buyers that their designs will look as great in reality as they do on a computer screen.”
Equipped with latest generation dual Epson PrecisionCore TFP printheads, using new formulation UltraChrome GS3 inks, the SC-S80610 is Epson’s flagship sign-printing model, designed to produce durable, high quality results at fast speeds for the most exacting of signage applications, plus speciality uses that demand outstanding results and vivid colours.
