Epson promises breadth and depth with its comprehensive wide format portfolio
Visitors to the Epson stand at FESPA this year will enjoy a colourful display and an array of applications from textiles and fashion to promotional items and signage.
Stand Hall 2.2D30 at FESPA in Berlin, 15-18 May.
At FESPA 2018 Epson will demonstrate to Print Service Providers a comprehensive range of equipment and applications that will highlight the versatility, quality and performance of its latest generation of digital inkjet technology. Visitors can expect to see a broad range of applications, the use of innovative substrates and plenty of colourful design work.
For the first time at FESPA the Monna Lisa industrial textile press will take centre stage to show users that there is a migration path for the most ambitious businesses. The Epson line up will also include the two latest textile printers, the SureColor SC-F9300 dye sublimation printer and the SureColor SC-F2100 Direct To Garment printer, as well as the established and popular SureColor SC-F6200. Expect to see both fashion and interior textiles samples at the show.
The stand will highlight an haute couture womenswear collection by Richard Quinn, who recently won the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design and was presented with the award by the Queen herself at London Fashion Week. All the items in this collection were printed on SureColor SC-F Series printers. An insight into future design with the décor work coming out of Birmingham City University School of Textiles and Fashion will also be demonstrated. The Epson-BCU project challenges students to create work to a set brief. Four students will be selected to attend FESPA to view their winning work on display.
Other décor, giftware, signage, proofing, photography and backlit products will also be seen and produced. There will be two models from the SureColor SC-S range, the SC-80600 and the SC-60600. Completing the portfolio will be a SureColor SC-P photographic quality printer.
Richard Barrow, Senior Product Manager – Production LFP. “FESPA brings together equipment and substrate/textiles suppliers, making it a great research base for the most forward-thinking Print Service Providers. Digital inkjet remains a fast-evolving business and both suppliers and printers continue to trial and challenge the technology to do more.
“There is a thirst from PSPs for diversification, a willingness to find ways of giving customers even more products that will communicate the brand or the corporate message. Broadening the range is a way of adding value to the services they provide to customers and cementing the partnership, leaving no hole for an alternative supplier to fill. At Epson we can provide advice and information to help them grow their business.”
