About Al Kifah Private SchoolsAl Kifah Private Schools in KSA was established in 2001, and it seeks to build a new knowledgeable generation with an education based on Islamic values along with academic and extracurricular activities. The school regularly conducts sports events, debates, quiz competition and other activities.
It also provides an international education handled by a specialized team of experts in their fields.
The school buildings include many facilities to aid the students with their work such as computer labs fully equipped with devices, science labs with the latest appliances, Libraries, Playgrounds, Conference rooms, activity rooms, and providing the parents with all the information they need.
BackgroundAl Kifah Schools have always strived to provide students an engaging experience in classrooms and, as part of their developmental programme, they had invested in SANYO, MITSUBISHI and 3M projectors. In an effort to upgrade their existing systems, the school started evaluating new projector technologies available in the market.
Epson SolutionAl Kifah School met with the Epson team who introduced them to Epson’s latest product offerings.
“We wanted a solution for our Auditorium which hosts various school activities and, presentation to students and guests, are an integral part of this programme. Due to the size of the auditorium, we needed projection that fits into 10x4m size. We considered video walls but the Epson team introduced us to Edge Blending with Epson projectors which also offered the added advantage of cost saving,” according to Eng. Osama Al- Hafawi.
Epson team explained that Edge Blending technology produces large, bright, high-resolution images. The video signal from one projector is gradually faded out through the banded zone, while the adjacent projection or channel is faded up. The appearance of banding is eliminated and a single image is created across the screen.
Al Kifah School decided to go for Edge Blending and bought two units of EB-Z11000 and two short through lenses ELPLU02. They were impressed by the offering of EB-Z11000- high brightness projector giving stunning, high-definition images with its 3LCD technology.
The school has since then started changing all their existing projector units to Epson.
Experience with Epson solutionAl Kifah School’s experience with Epson was seamless. Epson did the edge blending solution using the built in features in the projectors without using external hardware devices , and the school was able to enjoy impressive images with high level of brightness.
To obtain an image display of 10m width x 4 m Height at the background of school theatre, the projectors were installed in 3.8 meters distance from the screen.
“Epson provided us a good reliable solution which has helped us to save money, moreover the color and image quality output are excellent,” says Eng. Osama Al- Hafawi.
