Epson iProjection App now available for Chromebooks

Epson has released the iProjection App for Chromebooks, enabling students and teachers to display content from their Chromebooks on Epson’s projectors. The app makes it easy to move about the room and effortlessly share content from notebooks wirelessly with the entire class, using the classroom projector.

The Epson iProjection App for Chromebooks can display content easily from a single Chromebook to an Epson projector. With our Multi-PC Projection software and the Epson iProjection App for Chromebooks, teachers are able to connect with up to 50 devices and share content from up to four Chromebooks simultaneously to enhance the collaborative learning experience.

"Chromebooks are rapidly becoming the device of choice for classrooms and teachers alike, and Epson has worked with the education sector to ensure our app meets their needs to deliver classroom collaboration at all levels," says Hans Dummer, director, Visual Instruments, Epson Europe. "With the app, we developed a way to mirror content from Chromebooks to Epson projectors to save time, as well as support multiple content displays at the same time."

Epson projectors can transform most 2D surfaces, such as whiteboards, into educational workspaces, and our 3LCD projectors deliver three times brighter colours than leading competitive projectors to deliver amazing, true-to-life colour and detail for powerful and impactful lessons1.
