Ireland Print specialist Copytype pledges a donation to Burrenbeo Trust for the sale of every Epson inkjet printer

Copytype, a managed print document solutions provider for both private and public sector organisations, has committed to making a monetary donation to the Burren Pine Project from Burrenbeo Trust for the sale of every Epson inkjet device. After 30 years in business, the Irish print specialist Copytype has now significantly shifted their print portfolio from laser printing to heat-free inkjet printing technology from Epson, which represents a 95% reduction in energy than laser and uses fewer consumables. In tribute to this sustainable shift in their print offering, Copytype wanted to expand their efforts to support the environment.

The Burren Pine Project aims to revive Ireland’s only native pine tree, Pinus sylvestris, which was thought to have died out in Ireland around 1500 year ago until it was discovered recently by scientists from Trinity College Dublin in a microrefugium presence at a remote site in the Burren. Those that purchase any Epson inkjet printer through Copytype will be helping to support the Burren Pine Project, at no added expense to them, and will receive a certificate of thanks from the Burrenbeo Trust.
