Epson’s Expression Premium range updated and expanded with compact A3 model
Building on the success of its popular range of all-in-one printers, the Expression Premium models XP-640 and XP-645 have been updated, plus the series has been expanded with the addition of a new A3 printing model1 - the XP-900. Stylish and compact, these versatile all-in-one models combine printing, scanning and copy facilities in one unit – ideal for modern homes. And with a host of mobile printing options, it’s easy to produce glossy photos and crisp, clear documents from almost anywhere in the home, or even the world2.
The new XP-900 offers A3 printing in a footprint similar to that of an A4 model. In modern homes space can often be limited, so this compact design means that even more customers will be able to take advantage of A3 printing.
Busy households and aspiring photographers can take the fuss and expense out of printing photos with a printer that can produce better-than-lab-quality photographs at home, and on demand. The Expression Premium range uses Claria Premium Inks, which are renowned for producing outstanding, glossy photos with sharp detail, deep blacks and rich, vibrant colours. Its five inks can be individually replaced as and when a particular colour runs out, making it economical. They’re also designed to handle printing documents expertly too, providing the complete package.
The Expression Premium models’ connectivity features provide even more freedom for users. There’s no need to be deskbound; Wi-Fi ensures it’s easy to print and scan from around the home and Wi-Fi Direct makes it possible to print without a wireless network. There’s also the free downloadable apps that form Epson Connect2. It’s easy to print and scan wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet around the home using the free iPrint2 app. And for those that are out and about, Epson Email Print2 lets users email documents and photos directly to the printer from almost anywhere in the world. Meanwhile, imaginative users can tap into the free Creative Print2 app to print photos directly from Facebook, create custom greeting cards, turn photos into colouring book templates, and plenty more.
The models are packed with user-friendly functions including double-sided printing, a LCD screen for easy navigation, a front-loading paper tray and a memory card slot to make it easy to print photos without a PC. Additionally, the XP-640, XP-645 and XP-900 are capable of printing on suitable CDs and DVDs, plus the XP-900 features a rear speciality media feed for printing thicker paper up to A3.
Mohamed Musa, Product Manager, Epson Europe, says: “We’re constantly assessing our product ranges to ensure they deliver to our customers needs. The XP-900 will provide even more choice in our Expression Premium range, giving users the option to print A3 photos and documents at home, even when space is limited.”
The Expression Premium XP-900, XP- 645, XP- 640, XP-540 are available from September 2016
