Epson Launches the EcoTank Pop-up, a Unique Retail and Co-Working Space in London's Covent Garden
The EcoTank Pop-up, open through September and October, will showcase Epson's latest range of EcoTank printers, while celebrating and supporting freelancers, home workers, students and families.
On 3 September 2018 Epson will launch the EcoTank Pop-up, a unique combination of retail experience and co-working space, in London's iconic Covent Garden. Visitors to the pop-up, which will remain open throughout September and October, will be able to try (and buy) printers from Epson's ground-breaking EcoTank range.
The EcoTank Pop-up doubles as a co-working space for freelancers, bloggers and other remote workers. Members of this group, which is rapidly expanding in the UK, can expect a collaborative and creative working space with free secure Wi-Fi, access to a kitchen for refreshments and, of course, unlimited printing.
Visitors can also be in with a chance of winning an EcoTank. From opening at 10.00am on Wednesday 5th September until closing at 5.00pm on Sunday 9th September, Epson will be giving away one EcoTank printer every hour to visitors to the EcoTank Pop-up. To be in with a chance of winning, visitors need to share a photo that they’ve taken in the Epson EcoTank Pop-up to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #EcoTankPopup, tagging @EpsonUK. One winner will be selected at random every hour.
Annika Fagerstrom, Head of Consumer products at Epson UK is looking forward to seeing the EcoTank Pop-up launched. "We hope that members of the public will come along and enjoy this experience, and take full advantage of the collaborative working benefits on offer. It's a great opportunity for people to meet their peers in a relaxed and comfortable environment, and of course try out our EcoTank printers and be in with a chance to win one if they take part in our competition."
Epson will also be running a series of daily, expert-led workshops at the pop-up, specifically for freelancers, bloggers, self-employed people, small and medium sized businesses, students and families. These will cover a wide range of useful subjects, from invoicing, branding and GDPR to family crafts. For a full list of workshops and to book your place, please click here.
EcoTank printers are distinctive for their ultra-high-capacity ink tank system, which completely removes the need for cartridges and provides hassle-free, low cost printing for businesses and homes. EcoTank printers can hold the equivalent of 94 cartridges worth of ink, saving users up to 90% on their ink costs.
This feature, and the ability to print high quality text and images on a range of media (including A3) according to the model chosen, make EcoTank printers ideal for freelancers and remote workers as well as for students and families. An EcoTank will take care of everyday printing, but with the added assurance of longevity and reliability that really matters in business. Perhaps best of all, they give users the freedom to print without having to worry about their ink running out, since each printer comes with up to three years' worth of ink1.
1 Figure based on an average print volume of 140 pages per month and considering the lowest yield produced from the first set of inks.
