Epson launches new experiential digital signage projector range

October 1, 2020 – Epson, the leading global projector brand [1], is expanding its laser projector line-up with six new projectors to achieve more impactful signage and experiential immersive displays for a variety of commercial environments including retail, hospitality, museums and visitor attractions.

Epson’s latest laser displays combine powerful 3LCD projection with new user-friendly software to help brands be more creative with their visual displays and achieve even greater levels of customer engagement and interaction.

The new EB-L250F, EB-750 and EB-800 series are powered by a laser light source capable of up to 20,000 hours’ maintenance free performance and come equipped with new intuitive software, extensive connectivity and flexible installation to project content virtually anywhere. Capable of projecting borderless content onto walls, floors, ceilings and even 3D objects, brands can bring added creativity to their displays to surprise and delight customers.

“Engagement drives growth and experiences drive engagement,” comments Joey Watkins, product manager, Epson Europe B.V. “As brands look for new ways to stand out, it’s important to make the most of existing spaces and deliver clear, impactful and relevant content. Epson’s new projector line-up provides innovative, experiential signage solutions that are affordable, reliable and easy-to-use.”

“From projecting timely messaging such as social distancing directions, to highlighting the latest sales promotions, or creating thrilling and mysterious experiences for diners, shoppers, tourists and visitors, Epson’s new projectors will further enhance the way customers interact with brands and products.”

Featuring a range of ultra-short-throw and standard-throw models, the new displays make it easy and affordable for users to deploy dynamic content and meet today’s signage needs. Ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 lumens of white and colour light output [2], the projector line-up uses Epson’s 3LCD laser technology and up to 1080p full HD resolution.

The new EB-L250F, EB-750 and EB-800 series offers flexible 360-degree installation and a full range of connectivity options including HDMI, HDBaseT, built-in wireless and Miracast [3] making installation simple and allowing easy integration into existing CMS infrastructure. Users can also connect two or more displays to deploy built-in edge blending to create immersive spaces or illuminate an entire wall with one large image. In addition, the split screen feature allows users to connect multiple input sources for displaying different content simultaneously.

The EB-L250F, EB-750 and EB-800 series are compatible with Epson Projector Content Manager software and the  Epson Creative Projection app that combine to provide a complete solution for content management and custom content creation.

The Epson Projector Content Manager software allows the creation of playlists using photos, videos, shape filters and effects which can be scheduled and saved to an external storage device for cableless content playback directly on the projector.

Epson Creative Projection allows easy access to a variety of creative elements, enabling users to create custom content using a combination of videos, photos, text and existing pre-set filters or to upload new content to deliver unique effects. The Epson Creative Projection app is compatible with iOS devices and offers advanced features such as image adjustment, point correction and the ability to project directly from the device.

The new projectors build on the success of the recently launched EB-W70 and EB-W75 mini laser signage projectors. These lightweight compact 2.7kg portable projectors have been designed specifically for boutique retail and experiential environments. Offering a 1.04:1 short throw ratio, 360 degrees projection and a sleek, modern design in both black and white, the EB-W70 and EB-W75 blend seamlessly into a variety of décor styles and include built-in Bluetooth ® connectivity and HDMI connection for easy streaming and sharing of engaging creative content.

The EB-800 series will be available from October, the EB-750 series will be available from November and the EB-L250F series will available from December. All models will be available in white and black.
