Epson launches new A3 Mono business inkjet printer with small footprint and high print and scan speeds

Epson has launched the WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 A3 mono printer to offer fast print and scan speeds within a small product footprint. The product joins the Epson AM range of Heat-Free business inkjets developed to accelerate the transition from laser to inkjet and offer a full range of increasingly sustainable business inkjet MFPs.

The new product provides all the expected benefits of Epson Heat-Free inkjet technology, including reduced power and consumables use compared to laser printers. The product delivers duplex scan speeds of 140ipm and print speeds of 55ppm, as well as requiring no warm-up time before delivering the first-page-out, reducing user wait time and helping boost productivity.

Benefiting from a ‘C’ shaped paper path, the AM-M5500 is one of the smallest products in its class making it ideal for use in environments where space is at a premium. It also benefits from an open platform operating system, streamlining integration into existing fleets and ensuring compatibility with 3^rd party print and fleet management systems as well as Epson’s own solutions.
