Epson launches first A3 business EcoTanks, delivering cost efficient, sustainable solutions for larger format office documents

Expanding its range of business EcoTank printers, Epson has launched its first A3 multifunction EcoTank products, offering both colour and mono print at A3 size; the EcoTank Pro ET-16680 and ET-M16680.

These cartridge-free solutions ensure long term, hassle free print requiring no ink cartridge changes or storage, and provide an energy efficient alternative to laser printers.

“These low-intervention products are ideal for any business looking to print in larger, A3 sizes and wanting to do so in a sustainable way,” says Anthony Wells, product manager, Epson Europe.

“Using up to 83% less power than laser printers, these Heat-free inkjets also use high capacity ink tanks, reducing time needed to manage supplies as well as eliminating the creation, shipping and disposal of cartridges.  Instead they are refilled using high capacity ink bottles, delivering up to 7,500 black and 6,000 colour prints.”

These clean products can be easily integrated into a secure print workflow through open connectivity and deliver both ultra-low cost per page and total cost of ownership. And are ideal for increasing efficiency among small workgroups with a first page out time of just 5.5 seconds.

“As businesses re-group after a period of change, many are looking for ways to demonstrate sustainability action. Choosing Epson Heat-free inkjet technology over a laser printer alternative is an example of a small change that can make a big difference and support end-user efforts to reduce power consumption and reduce print supplies related waste,” concludes Wells.
