The Hermitage Academy educates 1000 students aged between 11 and 18. It has a reputation for innovation: technology is used to help students enhance their learning and prepare to excel in the future.
The Challenge- The school wanted to provide state-of-the-art technology to pupils whilst keeping running costs to a minimum
- They wanted products that are eco-friendly and conscious of the environment without compromising on quality
- They wished to reduce time wasted on multiple ink supplies
- They wanted the ability to display large examples of students’ work around the school.

- and an Epson Stylus Pro 9890 44-inch large format printer
- The printers were networked from the main office to improve fleet management
- Parts can be kept on site allowing fast access to replacements (ASM)
- The projectors are used in every classroom
- Standardising on an all Epson solution has helped the academy reduce operating costs and saved time that’s betterspent elsewhere
