Saint-Gobain Romania chooses the Epson team to print its labels

Saint-Gobain Romania, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, one of the largest construction companies in the world, decided to buy a hundred Epson TM-C3500 printers to print its colour labels last year.

The printers went to work in areas in many sectors in Romania, including innovative materials development, construction products and construction materials distribution.

"This is the second contract with Saint-Gobain. In reality, it is a continuation of the contract that ended two years ago when we received around seventy Epson label printers of a previous model," said Nicoleta Gujbă, Business Development Manager, One Source Solution, mentioning that Epson was the only solution proposed.

The TM-C3500 brings high quality colour and versatility to labels, badges and tickets. Printing speeds of up to 103mm/s and individual ink cartridges based on pigments mean that companies can save time and money spent on outsourcing label production services.

The speed and quality of the model were among the main reasons Saint-Gobain decided to buy the Epson TM-C3500 printers.

Pigment-based DURABrite Ultra ink cartridges enable the creation of detailed, durable, rapid-drying labels. The labels not only look brilliant, but the durability of the pigment-based inks make them perfect for different types of media.

The printer also helps the company to meet international GHS recommendations with regard to the labelling of chemical substances. The combination of pigment-based ink and matt labels made of PE is ideal for use on difficult media, providing printed materials which are precise and resistsnt to staining, water and most chemical substances.

The Epson TM-C3500 model allows straightforward printing onto a wide range of materials, including matt and glossy paper, and transparent labels. This means that the labels can be very easily personalised to meet the specific needs of clients. The LCD screen shows the ink levels and printer status information, while front operation and the easy-to-configure software mean that the printer can be operated without any specialist training.
