New range of premium inkjets for versatile home printing

Epson’s successful Expression Premium range of compact home inkjet printers has been improved following the launch of the XP-510, XP-610 and XP-615. With new features that make home printing more versatile and easier than ever before, the range is perfect for busy households who want to print high-quality photos without compromising on text quality.
The Expression Premium printers offer great accessibility thanks to features such as two paper trays; 6.3cm smart-navigation touch panel[1]; double-sided printing; individual inks and CD/DVD printing1. The dual front-loading paper trays1 make switching between photo-sized and A4-sized printing easy. Users can also print directly onto specialised CDs and DVDs1and these printers feature duplex printing. The user-friendly interactive menu also allows PC-free photo printing from memory cards and PictBridge enabled devices1.
All Expression Premium series printers come with Epson Connect[2], which allows users to quickly and easily print documents and photos over Wi-Fi® from smartphones and tablets. In addition these multifunction printers are equipped with Wi-Fi DirectTM, allowing users to print fromwireless devices without having to connect to a wireless router.
Users can also print from anywhere in the world by emailing documents and photos directly to the printerwhile Scan-to-Cloud means documents can be scanned and saved directly into cloud services.
The Expression Premium products also include the new Epson Creative Print app, which allows users to be more expressive by creating greeting cards, personalising stationary, printing photos from Facebook and more3.This series is also compatible with Google Cloud Print.
They use Epson’s Claria Premium Ink which combines a pigment black ink with dye-based cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks. This means that, as well as creating durable text documents, users can produce glossy photos with sharp detail, deep blacks and rich, vibrant colours; a perfect balance for the modern home.
With their distinctive polar bear image packaging, users will be able to immediately identify the correct ink cartridges for their printer. All cartridges are available in standard and XL sizes, with page yields displayed clearly on the front of each pack, making it easier for users to decide which cartridge size best suits their printing needs.
Simon Hanly, product manager, Epson UK, says: “We’ve designed the Expression Premium range to cater for all our customers’ needs and extended the range to lower price points. Not only are they extremely easy-to-use but they are also compact – everything a home user could want.”
The Expression Premium XP-615 and XP-610 are available from September 2013 and the XP-510 is available from October 2013, priced at RRP £149.99 and £129.99 respectively.
