Epson’s first business printers to use PrecisionCore

19 March 2014 – Epson has announced 18 inkjet printers for the business environment, with models that meet the needs of companies of all sizes – from small offices to large enterprises. These are our first business inkjets to feature Epson’s exclusive printhead technology, called PrecisionCore. They reinforce the advantages of inkjet technology as it challenges laser in the workplace, from A4 up to, and including, A3+.

Available from channel partners are the new WorkForce Pro WF-8000 and WorkForce Pro WF-5600 series.
The WorkForce Pro WF-8000 series (WF-8590DWF, WF-8090DW, WF-8510DWF, and WF-8010DW) provides low cost, ecological A3+ printing for small and medium offices, up to large enterprises and public organisations, with up to 80 percent lower energy consumption than competitive colour lasers1. Fast print speeds and business features, including PIN release control for confidential, secure printing, and Gigabit network connectivity make these printers ideal for boosting productivity.
The WorkForce Pro WF-5600 series (WF-5690DWF, WF-5190DW, WF-5620DWF, WF-5110DW) is designed to cut costs and environmental impact. Aimed at small and medium offices, up to large enterprises and public organisations, these A4 printers benefit from an up to 50 percent lower cost per page2 and up to 80 percent lower energy consumption than competitive colour lasers3, high capacity ink cartridges of 4,000 pages, fast printing speeds and business integration features.
Also available, exclusively through select print service partners under managed print services (MPS), is the new WorkForce Pro RIPS series (WF-R8590DTWF, WF-R5690DTWF, WF-R5190DTW). These Replaceable Ink Pack System printers feature a new technology that enables them to print up to 75,000 pages without replacing the ink. With these A3+ and A4 printers, offices can benefit from the increased productivity of a distributed print fleet that requires minimal intervention and provides predictable print costs, with up to 80 percent lower energy consumption than competitive colour lasers4.
In addition, available through retail channels, are the WorkForce Pro WF-4600, WorkForce WF-3000 and WorkForce WF-7000 series.
The WorkForce Pro WF-4600 series (WorkForce Pro WF-4640DTWF and WF-4630DWF) is designed to cut costs and environmental impact in small offices, home offices and small workgroups. These printers benefits from low running costs, and automatic double-sided printing, scanning, copying and faxing help to boost productivity in the workplace.
Helping small businesses increase their office productivity while cutting costs, Epson announces the new WorkForce WF-7000 series (WorkForce WF-7620DTWF, WF-7610DWF, WF-7110DTW) for A3+ printing and the new WorkForce WF-3000 series (WorkForce WF-3640DTWF and WF-3620DWF) for A4 printing. Both series are aimed at small office and home office users who need cost-effective, business-quality printing, and feature a high-yield XXL black ink cartridge, Wi-Fi connectivity, and fast duplex printing.
