Epson SureColor S-Series solvent printers win top accolades from Keypoint Intelligence

6 November 2017– Keypoint Intelligence (previously known as Buyers Lab), the world’s leading independent evaluator of document imaging software, hardware and services, has recognised Epson for the innovation and remarkable colour accuracy shown by its range of SureColor S-Series solvent-based signage printers.

All three current models in the series – the SC-S40600, SC-S60600 and SC-S80600 – received BLI Pick Awards at the 2017 SGIA Expo:

• Epson SureColor S40600– Outstanding entry-level CMYK 54"/64" eco-solvent/latex device

• Epson SureColor S60600– Outstanding high-production CMYK 54"/64" eco-solvent/latex device

• Epson SureColor S80600– Outstanding gamut expansion 54"/64" eco-solvent/latex device

“Keypoint Intelligence worked very closely with Epson during the testing process, and all three Epson SureColor S-Series solvent printers delivered the lowest Delta E measurements of all the devices tested,” said David Sweetnam, director of research and lab services, EMEA/Asia, at Keypoint Intelligence. “These awards give special recognition to manufacturers and products that perform above their peers in our exhaustive lab tests, and all three S-Series models did extremely well in our tests – providing accuracy that any colour-critical print shop would appreciate.”
