Epson shows extensive range of print, projection and sensing technologies at Photokina

At Photokina (16th-21st September 2014, Booth B11, Hall 2.2) Epson is showing more innovative imaging solutions – encompassing print, projection and sensing technologies – than ever before and announcing several new products for consumer and professional users.

From the latest desktop photo printers and scanners to a variety of professional production microlabs and large format printers, Epson will demonstrate more than 30 products at Photokina. All deliver the highest levels of cutting-edge quality, versatility and connectivity and all have been designed to create a variety of applications to meet the multiple needs of today’s diverse consumer and professional imaging industry.

Taking smartphone photography to new levels, international artist photographer Gary Wornell will show visitors how to take professional style portraits in his bespoke on-booth studio. These will be printed on beautiful Japanese Kozo Thin translucent paper by the SureColour SC-P600 - Epson’s new top-of-the-range A3 photo printer launched earlier this month.

Visitors will be also able to try Epson’s versatile and compact microlabs, watch rapid direct-to-garment T-Shirt printing in action, and explore how they can print images onto a range of materials to create bespoke photo, art and décor products.

Professional photographers are increasingly looking to capture and print the perfect shot from live action film footage. At Photokina, Epson teams up with the ORT Interactive digital production agency, and the acrobatic Morenas do Brasil Capoeria dancers to demonstrate the unmatched capabilities of full resolution stills-from-motion capture and print. At 100 frames/second there are 100 chances a second to find the ultimate picture!
