Epson makes 3D home entertainment portable

31 August2012 – Epson announces the EH-TW550 – an affordable, lightweight, 720p, HD-Ready 3D projector that’s easy to carry between rooms or locations. Ideal for all-round family home entertainment, such as watching sport, TV and films, and playing games, the EH-TW550 offers:
 

• 3LCD technology with equally bright White and Colour Light output for vivid, lifelike images
• Choice of colour modes to suit environment and usage
• Split-screen display function
• Radio Frequency (RF) 3D technology, providing a strong signal for 3D glasses
• Three-year lamp warranty

The projector’s split-screen display function allows two different sources to be viewed at the same time - perfect for quickly checking sports scores or flicking through TV channels.

With its slim design, the EH-TW550 is light enough to move between rooms or carry to a friend’s house. Set-up is quick and easy thanks to manual horizontal and automatic vertical keystone correction.

Epson’s 3LCD technology and an equally high White and Colour Light Output of up to 3,000 lumens ensure colours are lifelike and every detail is accurately reproduced. Colour can be optimised to suit usage and environment with a choice of four modes: living room, dynamic, theatre and game.

The EH-TW550 is compatible with USB-rechargeable, Radio Frequency, active shutter 3D glasses¹, sold separately, which can be used up to 10 metres from the projector.

Available from December, the EH-TW550 is priced at £599.
