Epson expands market-leading EB-L1000 Series of installation projectors with models up to 15,000lm
07 February 2017 – Epson today announced an expansion of its market-leading range of 3LCD laser installation projectors with eight new models. The line-up now offers brightness up to 15,0000 lumens, as well as a new remote image capture feature for diagnostic purposes, resolution and housing colour options, and a full range of connection types, including HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI and component.
The range includes eight new models - EB-L1755U, EB-L1750U, EB-L1715S, EB-L1710S, EB-L1555U, EB-L1550U, EB-L1515S and EB-L1510S. These offer either 15,000lm or 12,000lm brightness, plus WUXGA or SXGA+ resolution – the latter resolution is new to Epson’s installation projector range – and a choice of black or white housing.
All models offer the same extensive range of features as the existing models in this range, including outstanding connection options, high native contrast ratio, versatile 360 degree installation and projection from any angle. Some models also offer 4K Enhancement technology, for the sharpest possible picture. Plus they are compatible with Epson’s extensive selection of lenses, which is expanding to include a new ultra-short throw option.
Daniel Rose, product manager at Epson Europe, says, “The Pro AV industry asks us for two things – more brightness and more feature options, to suit a wider range of venues. By extending the EB-L1000 Series with eight new models up to 15,000 lumens, we’re more than meeting these requirements. When you add simple, versatile installation and ‘fit and forget’ reliability, these projectors represent a compelling choice for AV projects of all types.”
The new EB-L1000 Series projectors will be available from November 2017.
