Epson develops new entry-level installation projector series for business and education

Epson announces a new range of business and education installation projectors, designed to offer outstanding brightness, lasting reliability and all the features users expect, at a highly affordable price. This includes the EB-5530U (WUXGA), the EB-5520W (WXGA) and the EB-5510 (XGA), to offer a wide variety of different feature sets for potential users.

All three models in the EB-5000 Series offer 5,500-lumen brightness, allowing the units to project a clear, crisp image with vivid colours, even in a well-lit room. A wide variety of connectivity options ensure seamless integration into any boardroom or classroom setup, including Miracast and HDBaseT1, as well as dual HDMI connections.

EB-5000 Series projectors offer an excellent total cost of ownership (TCO), due not only to an affordable purchase price, but also to great value replacement lamps. However lamp replacement may never be an issue, thanks to an increased 10,000-hour lamp life2 in all models. These units are also remarkably flexible and easy to install, with horizontal and vertical lens shift, and a wide contrast ratio.

Daniel Rose, product manager at Epson Europe, says, “At Epson we feel it’s important to offer a comprehensive range of installation projectors, so as well as high-end units we focus on entry-level solutions, designed to fit within tight educational and corporate budgets. The EB-5000 Series offers remarkable performance for the money, with 5,500-lumen brightness and excellent lamp-life, and is ideal especially for multiple-unit installations.”

EB-5000 Series projectors are available from 1 February 2017.
