Epson demonstrates SureColor inkjet printer versatility at FESPA 2014
4 April 2014 – Epson will showcase the versatility and productivity of its range of SureColor inkjet printers at FESPA 2014 (20-23 May, Messe Munich), along with its latest aqueous-based production large format printers. Visitors to the Epson stand (Hall B2, Stand 310) will be able to browse many value-added applications printed onto a broad range of substrates: signage, POS, vehicle wraps, décor, apparel, t-shirts, gift and promotional products.
Designed to deliver maximum quality, productivity, flexibility and low Total Cost of Ownership, the full range of SureColor printers will be demonstrated. These include: three 64-inch SureColor SC-S wide-format signage printers; three SureColor SC-F dye sublimation printers (44 and 64inch) - including the new SureColour SC-F7100 - and the SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-garment printer.
Epson SureColour: delivering choice and flexibility
Epson will show a variety of high-impact, high-quality and durable signage and POS printed by the SureColor SC-S30600, 50600 and 70600 64-inch, roll-fed printers. Offering a choice of productivities and from 4-10 colours, including white and metallic, the SureColor S series of printers demonstrate cost-effective, high-speed productivity printing onto a range of materials such as vinyl, canvas, clear film, photographic paper and a range of banner substrates. The combination of Epson’s UltraChrome GSX Ink and proven Micro Piezo TFP printhead delivers clarity, fine detailing and smooth blends at resolutions up to 1440 x 1440 dpi.
Also on display will be soft signage, apparel, gift and promotional products to demonstrate the flexibility of the SC-F Series dye sublimation printers. These are the first dye sublimation printers from Epson and the first in this sector in which every component is designed and manufactured by one company. As a result, quality, performance and reliability are all optimised for maximum productive uptime and profit. The printers use Epson UltraChrome DS ink, a specially-developed new aqueous ink, which produces outstanding images with vibrant colours, intense blacks, sharp contours and smooth gradations. Finally, Epson’s first direct-to-garment printer – the SureColor SC-F2000 – will be demonstrating fast, efficient T-shirt printing.
Duncan Ferguson, Director of Pro-Graphics and New Business Development, Epson Europe, says: “Epson at FESPA will be the ‘must-see’ booth for anyone looking to invest in highly-reliable and great quality new-generation large format printers to grow their business.
