A new low monthly cost plan has been added to Epson’s ReadyPrint Flex service, available for Epson WorkForce and Expression Home printers. Priced at just 99p, the lowest monthly cost plan available, it is perfect for low use customers who only want to print up to ten pages per month. The addition of a new lower monthly cost plan means there are now six plans available ranging from 10 to 500 pages a month. With ReadyPrint Flex, customers choose a set number of printed pages per month (99p for 10 pages, £1.99 for 30 pages, £2.99 for 50 pages, £4.49 for 100 pages, £9.99 for 300 pages and £16.49 for 500 pages) with unused pages rolled over for up to 2 months.
For customers who prefer to avoid cartridges altogether, three new price plans have been added to ReadyPrint EcoTank. These include a new 150 page per month plan for £4.99 per month and for the heaviest print users, new 1,000 and 3,000 page plans (£14.99 and £29.99 respectively) are also available. ReadyPrint EcoTank has five plans with prices based on monthly print volumes. There are also plans for 300 pages (£7.99 a month) and 500 pages (£9.99 a month). With all ReadyPrint EcoTank plans, an EcoTank printer is delivered for use while the plan is active and a return to base warranty is included.
Printers on ReadyPrint Flex and EcoTank plans monitor when ink begins to run low and replacement supplies are sent directly to the customer’s chosen address automatically, so they never have to worry about running out of ink.
Owen Vloothuis, ReadyPrint product manager at Epson Europe said: “There’s few things more annoying than running out of ink just when you need it most. Our ReadyPrint ink subscription service is addressing that and its proving to be really popular. Customers from all over Europe are now enjoying the peace of mind of having ink delivered straight to their doors before they run out of ink. And now with even more choice, people who only print small amounts can benefit too.”
