Create labels anywhere
22nd October 2012 – Epson has developed its first ever PC-connected and remote label maker, designed to offer audio and visual installation services, electricians and other maintenance industries flexible label making in and out of the office. With easy-to-use functions, print-preview screen and a long nine-metre tape included, this user-friendly device effortlessly allows users to create up to 24mm-width labels for any number of internal or external tasks.
When the LW-700 is connected to a desktop PC, the Label Editor PC software allows users to create labels exactly how they want to. Pre-loaded templates mean professional-looking labels can be created easily or users can create their own. A wide variety of frames, symbols, barcodes and images offer more options for full customisation. Users can also print a large number of labels in one go; a single label up to 999 times or 999 different labels.
Users can unplug the LW-700 and use it remotely for portable label creation. With its embedded keyboard, dedicated access keys and carry handle, everything needed to create labels remotely is right at users’ fingertips. The print-preview graphic display shows users what labels will look like before they print them, saving time and money on unnecessary printing. Perfect for when labels are needed quickly in manufacturing or event management.
Herve Thevenin, product manager, Epson Europe, says: “This is the first time we’ve developed a label maker to be used both in and out of the office. To help get users started, the LW-700 is supplied with one nine-metre tape to create black text on strong adhesive white tape. And with a large variety of tapes available, users can select the ideal one for whatever task they need to perform.”
The Epson LabelWorks LW-700 is available from November, priced at £124.99
