Shireland Hall Academy is a primary school for children between the ages of three and eleven. It is sponsored by the Elliot Foundation, which runs a chain of academies in the West Midlands.

• Provides an education for primary age pupils
• Became an academy in 2013
• Has 433 pupils, and is continuing to expand

• Shireland Hall Academy moved to a new school building in 2013
• At the same time, it increased in size from one-and-a-half form entry to three form entry
• The school had seven ageing Hewlett-Packard laser printers, which were expensive to run
• It needed to replace the older printers with a suite of new highperformance, economical printers

• Epson installed nine Workforce Pro WP-4015 business inkjet printers for break-out areas in classrooms and three Workforce Pro WP-4515 colour inkjet printers for offices
• The printers provide the same, if not better quality than laser printers, but at a significantly reduced price
• Running costs are also low
• The scanning and copying capabilities on the WP-4515 printers have proved extremely useful for small jobs
