Klaus Armbruster chooses GT-1500 and WorkForce Pro WP-4025 DW
Whoever needs insurance - and that means everybody, be they a private individual or a company - has an unimaginable variety of companies and quotes to choose from. In Germany in 2011, a total of almost half a billion insurance policies were taken out, that cost around 7% of total income. Thus in 2011, Germans were relying on around 93 million life insurances, 295 million accident insurances, over 100 million vehicle insurances, 21 million legal costs insurances and around 69 million health insurances.
Independent advisers optimise customer benefitsEveryone needs insurance and everyone has it, and everyone has a different approach in finding the right cover for them. One of the most frequently chosen methods is to use an insurance broker, which has a number of advantages for the insured. Unlike established insurance companies, a broker acts independently and is therefore an independent partner, who can serve the best interests of his client without being tied into a portfolio. There is therefore a special relationship of trust with their customer, as they act as a "fiduciary manager" of the latter's insurance interests. In simple terms: The insurance broker is on the client's side.
Simple, efficient and cost-effective
For Klaus Armbruster, an independent insurance broker based in Krefeld, such customer satisfaction is essential. "Since 1996, with a staff of three, our office has been looking after both private customers and business customers with a work force of around 20 to 30 employees. And these clients are particularly critical and individual in their requirements. So it is important to have in-depth knowledge of the sector and what it has to offer. With changing quotations as well, this is the only way we can arrange a suitable range of buildings, vehicle and other insurances that will always suit our clients.
The office use of the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4025DNF business inkjet printer is mainly used for printing draft contracts and quotes. What matters is speed and print quality.
Also the highlighting of important elements with a text marker should not cause smeared or barely legible text. "High printing speed and simple printer operation are of immense value in an office like mine", Armbruster adds. "I like the low power consumption and the very reasonable cost per page, even if for me they are not the primary reason for choosing the Epson inkjet. My two colleagues here in Krefeld know the score about insurance, so simple things like changing an ink cartridge must also be quick and simple to achieve."
The external GT-1500N flat-bed scanner is also especially important for the office. Drafts for commercial customers in particular can also easily run to 80 or 90 pages that must be printed by the customer, annotated with comments and remarks, and faxed back. These documents are then scanned quickly and reliably with the Epson GT-1500N scanner, and stored in the local DMS system as a PDF file. The customer's annotations are then incorporated into new quotes and contracts.
"The whole system was recommended to us by our specialist dealer, Würke Datentechnik in Neuss, and following the experience with ink in the office, we wouldn't consider another laser printer," explains Klaus Armbruster. "We have complete confidence in the printer and scanner, and value its rapid and reliable operation suit our company. Also," he adds with a grin, "model photography is my favourite hobby and with the Epson WorkForce I can also print high quality pictures of my photo shoots."
Epson printers and scanners are easy to use and have cost advantages for the customer.
