print-ID expands its label production with SurePress L6034V

Founded in 2003, print-ID produces labels and tags for a wide range of customers. The company's extensive range covers almost every label type, size and material thanks to the latest label printing technology.

print-ID serves customers from all over Germany, thanks to a comprehensive and easy-to-use online shop. In addition to pre-printed labels for customers' own label printers, small to medium-sized runs of individually printed labels are becoming an increasingly frequent request.

But it isn't only a wide range with which print-ID is becoming successful but also its customer service. An order for blank labels received before 3pm will be produced and dispatched on the same day, while even complex labels with demanding cutting and/or post-processing requirements are ready for customers in no more than 48 hours.

In order to meet the increasingly complex requirements of its customers, since July 2016, the company has been using the new Epson SurePress L-6034V with UV ink alongside its existing Epson SurePress L-4033AW.

Sven Rühl, co-owner of print-id, explains, "One major reason for installing one of the new Epson SurePress L-6034V printers alongside the L-4033 is its high speed and ability to produce particularly durable labels without extensive need for post-processing, thanks to its UV inks."

At print-ID, the new SurePress L-6034V is used either for larger orders or where particularly high durability is required for labels. As Rühl explains, "For us, the 6034V complements the L-4033 brilliantly. Both printers cover the majority of the tasks inherent in our work. What's more, they give us great flexibility in terms of digital printing technology, which has a positive impact in particular on the production of individual labels, for example with serial numbers or even QR codes and barcodes."

"Of course, we are aware that with the L-6034V, we have installed one of the first Epson L-6034V label printers in Europe, so are like pioneers in that respect," continues Rühl. "However, because of our experience with the first SurePress we are very familiar with the quality and reliability of Epson printers. We had many honest discussions with Epson's developers and provided a great deal of feedback and requirements for these printers. Nevertheless, it is remarkable how precisely these requirements have been taken on board and implemented. For our company, the Epson SurePress printers represent excellent solutions that are enabling us to continue to expand our business."
