Venture Productions joins network of Certified ‘Digigraphie by Epson’ Providers
Based in the North West of England, Venture Productions specialises in digital photographic printing, handmade framing and the assembly of contemporary artwork. With over 12 years’ experience the company, which is a member of the Fine Art Guild, has helped artists, illustrators and photographers from all over the UK and abroad to reproduce and frame their artwork.
The ‘Digigraphie by Epson’ certification enables artists and photographers to add exclusive value to their limited edition prints, by using the very best printing technology together with a wide range of certified media, therefore guaranteeing exceptional, repeatable quality. The result of many years of research by Epson, Digigraphie is made possible by both the technical performance of Epson Stylus Pro printers and the quality of its range of UltraChrome pigment inks which give vivid and long lasting prints.
Each print is embossed with the ‘Digigraphie by Epson’ seal which confirms that it has been created following a specific digital process. “The Digigraphie seal of approval gives our customers confidence that we are using the best materials and processes to produce their artwork, and ensure the best image and printing quality,” says Paul Cash, Head of Purchasing and Quality Assurance, Venture Productions. “We have had a positive response to the Digigraphie programme and our customers appreciate the uniqueness of the Digigraphie certification.”
“We bought the printer based on Epson’s reputation as market leaders in inkjet technology, and soon after became a Certified Digigraphie Lab,” says Paul. “Many of our fine art photographers and artists want to print limited editions using inkjet technology and this certificate gives them the opportunity to add value and exclusivity to their work.”
The Epson Stylus Pro 9900 roll-fed printer, with a resolution up to 2880 x 1440 dpi, uses Epson’s UltraChrome HDR 11-colour ink set to provide a wide colour gamut, the smoothest of gradation and absolute control over the tone and hue of black and white prints thanks to the three densities of black ink and an advanced printer driver.
Nick White, business manager – proGraphics, Epson UK, says: “For professional artists and photographers it is essential that they remain in control of all their reproductions to protect the value and legacy of their work. Epson’s quality and experience of digital print making has ensured that the Digigraphie qualifications meet the high-end needs of both Venture and their clients.”
