Neil Colquhoun, business director at Epson UK says: “IFA is a great opportunity for us to present our latest innovations, as it is the meeting place for key retailers, buyers, media and experts from the industry. With the EH-TW6600W, EH-TW6600 and EH-TW570, we’re pleased to be continually raising the bar for image quality, bringing the latest cinematic 2D and 3D experience to home entertainment fans. Furthermore, the WF-100W is a new category for us, and a world first, designed to solve a key customer need – printing on the go.”
Home cinema enthusiasts will be impressed by the new high-quality home cinema projectors, providing big-screen HD technology, with bright colourful images for an exciting home-entertainment experience.
The new EH-TW6600W and EH-TW6600 home cinema projectors are ideal for big-screen entertainment fans who want to watch the latest Full HD contents, as well as newcomers to the home cinema market. These two new high-quality, great value projectors are perfect for home cinema, sports and gaming, offering all the great features of a high-end projector at an affordable price. The two 1080p projectors deliver crisp, smooth lifelike images with superb brightness and 2D and 3D definition, while also achieving an equally high White and Colour Light Output, with seven accurate colour modes and auto colour optimiser. Easy to use and to install, with lens shift for comfortable set up in any room, even inexperienced users can enjoy their full benefits directly after purchase.
The EH-TW570 provides the latest 720p HD-ready 3LCD technology to watch and play 2D and 3D contents, and it’s the brightest projector in Epson’s home cinema range, with 3,000 lumens and equally high White & Colour Light Output. It has four colour modes, ensuring the highest quality projection in all ambiences, and two 3D colour modes. Its long-lasting lamp of 5,000 hours in normal mode and 6,000 hours in eco mode, means gamers, film enthusiasts and sports fans can enjoy their content for longer between replacements.
The WorkForce WF-100W, the world’s smallest and lightest A4 inkjet printer is also highly portable. It has an integrated battery that can be recharged anywhere via USB or the bundled AC adaptor, measures 309x154x61mm and weighs only 1.6kg. It’s also the only portable printer to have a LCD screen and pigment ink for all colours, for durable, fast-drying, and smudge-free printouts. The WF-100W is easy to use, as it’s the only portable printer with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity1, and Epson Connect, which features Epson iPrint and Email Print. It also has Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint compatibility.
The WF-100W is therefore ideal for sales representatives, home repair specialists and any other business that needs to produce documents, invoices and contracts when out of the office, as it can be used in a vehicle, home or client’s office. Though the WF-100W is designed for a life on the road, its Wi-Fi connectivity and small, low profile design will also appeal to front desks in offices looking for an aesthetically pleasing and small printer.
All new home cinema projectors are available from September. Prices are £1,699 for the EH-TW6600W, £1,399 for the EH-TW660 and £549 for the EH-TW570. All prices are UK RRP inc. VAT. Pricing for the WF-100W will be announced shortly
