Epson shows power of inkjet to produce customised homewares at Heimtextil

Epson shows the power of its latest SureColor dye sublimation inkjet printers to produce a variety of high quality, bespoke homeware products at Heimtextil (12-15 January 2016, Messe Frankfurt, Stand E15 Hall 4.0).  A selection of coordinated vases, plates, mugs, coasters and cutlery - designed by Blooming Bryony especially for Heimtextil - show how décor and homeware designers, manufacturers and retailers can easily diversify their product ranges easily and with relatively low levels of investment.

Epson SureColor printers offer complete flexibility for anyone looking to produce small-to-medium volumes of interior products. The homeware products on the Epson booth at Heimtextil have all been produced using the easy-to-use and flexible 44-inch SureColor SC-F6200 printer in association with 3D sublimation specialist SubliTec. This SureColor was also used to dye-sublimate onto ChromaLuxe panels to produce stunning, scratch-resistant table tops, drinks coasters and metal panels. These complement the range of home textiles and furnishings on display to present a coordinated interior – all made possible with Epson inkjet technology.

Choice and customisation in décor is becoming more common and Epson dye sublimation is one of the most versatile digital printing processes enabling the production of a remarkable variety of decorated products. The range of materials that can be dye sublimated continues to expand and the latest in Epson digital dye sublimation technology means that it is now possible to reproduce high quality, vibrant designs that are durable and long-lasting onto a variety of surfaces. It offers exciting opportunities for businesses wishing to expand their portfolios and also opens up the market for new business investments for companies looking to expand.
