Epson unveils its new Expression Home range

Epson continues to bring world-renowned printing technology to the domestic market with its latest Expression Home range: XP-445, XP-442, XP-345, XP-342, XP-247, XP-245. With easy mobile printing connectivity, these small-in-one printers are neat and compact, while being simple to use and affordable to run.

It’s easy to save money with the Expression Home range and its individual Claria Home Inks. As the different inks can be purchased separately, it means that only the colour used needs to be replaced. Users can also be confident that there’s no compromise on quality; the ink has been specially designed to produce glossy photos and crisp, clean documents.

Rather than be confined to a desk, many people want the freedom to print from around their house, from a smartphone or tablet, or even when they’re on the go.  As such, the Expression Home range has flexible, time-saving and convenient features that make it quick and simple to print. With Wi-Fi, it’s possible to send items to print wirelessly from around the home. The XP-340 and XP-440 series also boast Wi-Fi Direct, so it’s straightforward to print wirelessly without a network. The free downloadable Epson Connect1 mobile apps (available with all Expression Home models) provide further versatility; Epson iPrint1 lets users print and scan wirelessly, while the Epson Creative Print1 app lets users print photos directly from Facebook, create custom greeting cards, turn photos into colouring book templates, and plenty more. In addition, the Epson Email Print1 feature allows files to be directly sent to the printer from almost anywhere in the world. Making it easy to print photos without a PC, the XP-340 and XP-440 series also include a colour LCD screen and memory card slot.

The Expression Home models neatly combine a printer, scanner and copier in one compact and space-saving unit. Helping them to blend into modern living spaces, the models feature a stylish, sophisticated and slim design.

Mohamed Musa, Product Manager, Epson Europe, says: “Our Expression Home range offers customers a smart solution with individual inks to keep printing costs down, a compact design to take up the least amount of space in the home as possible, and fantastic mobile connectivity options to allow printing on the go. There are individual differences across the series such as with Wi-Fi Direct, different sized LCD screens, a memory card slot, and different print speeds. This ensures that every customer can find a model that suits their needs and budget.”

The Expression Home range (XP-445, XP-442, XP-345, XP-342, XP-247, XP-245) is available from September 2016.
