Epson opens Pro AV Academy for industry professionals
08 February 2017 – Epson today announced a new Pro AV Academy programme, designed to help AV professionals gain detailed knowledge of Epson’s full range of market-leading audio-visual solutions, plus experience of how to fit, maintain, operate and market these technologies across the Pro AV rental sector, as well as for events and retail, educational or business projects.
The Epson Pro AV Academy offers intensive training delivered by globally recognised industry authorities, allowing students to certify their skills to employers with a meaningful vocational qualification, as well as giving businesses a proven edge in the AV marketplace. Ultimately, skills learnt at the Pro AV Academy will help industry professionals stage truly spectacular visual events at venues, museums and galleries, and set up compelling presentations in boardrooms and lecture theatres.
Epson’s Pro AV Academy is designed for sales people, operators, technicians and service engineers. Classes will be delivered by world-renowned Epson-approved instructors at academies run by Europe’s leading AV hire companies, including Lang AG and AED.
Neil Colquhoun, executive director, professional displays, Epson Europe, says, “Building the most advanced audio-visual technology is only half the story. The other half is making sure that everyone involved in selling, fitting, using and maintaining the hardware knows exactly how it works, and how to get the best out of it – our technology being used to the full extent of its potential is the best advert we could possibly have. That’s what the Pro AV Academy has been set up to achieve. We’re delighted to be working with the expert trainers at Lang and AED, and look forward to our new students graduating from the programme.”
Courses at the Epson Pro AV Academy will begin in Spring 2017. Potential students can register and find out more about the programme at www.epson.eu/proav-academy
