Epson launches all-in-one Expression Photo printers

Epson launches all-in-one Expression Photo printers for producing superior photos with 6-colour inks at up to A4 (XP-8600 series) and A3 (XP-970), with an easy-to-use interface. These models are available from September 2019.

The XP-8600 series and XP-970 provide a great solution for ambitious photography enthusiasts looking for an all-in-one printer that can print superior photos. Both models offer mobile printing and feature a space-saving and stylish design to complement the home. Reflecting how people print, the improved user-interface makes it easy for users to navigate the printer’s features directly.

The 6-colour Claria Photo HD inks are capable of printing long-lasting and professional-looking, glossy photos that can last for up to 300 years in a photo album ¹. Printing photos directly from a memory card is easy using the large 10.9cm touchscreen. The user can print onto suitable CDs and DVDs and a range of media including thicker photography papers (XP-970 offers up to A3) using the rear specialty media feed.

These all-in-ones with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct give users the freedom to print as and when they want. They work with Epson’s free apps, which make it easy to print photos and documents directly from smartphones and tablets ².

The XP-8600 series and XP-970 offer lots of user-friendly features including A4 auto double-sided printing, motorised output tray and auto power on for convenience. Making it easy to switch between tasks, the printers have two front-loading paper trays (A4 and photo-sized).
