New Epson WorkForce Pro RIPS Printer: Cost reduction increases productivity
Meerbusch, 25 January 2017 –With the WorkForce Pro WF-C869RDTWF Epson presents a new A3 Business Inkjet Printer (4-in-1) that will help companies to significantly improve productivity. A print yield of up to 84,000 pages cuts intervention time for replacing cartridges by up to 94 per cent. As an inkjet it does not need to warm up before printing and the C869RDTWF prints the first page (FPOT [1]) in about a third of the time needed by a comparable laser printer [2] With WorkForce Pro, companies can also reduce their energy costs by up to 95 per cent and reduce packaging waste by up to 99 per cent. The smartphone-inspired user interface of the new multifunction device allows for intuitive control. The new Epson WorkForce Pro C869RDTWF is available from qualified specialist retailers from March.
The Epson PrecisionCore printhead technology in the C869RDTWF significantly reduces the environmental impact for users and makes it easier to achieve CSR objectives. Compared to colour laser printers of the same class, the Epson needs up to 95 per cent less energy to operate. In addition, the printer can process a wide range of media such as recycled paper, media with glossy coatings, envelopes and even labels.
With its range of services and functions, the WorkForce Pro C869RTDWF can meet the needs of all corporate clients. It comes with an additional software packet. Administrators can configure their fleet of printers quickly and easily with “Epson Print Admin” via the web interface. The “Epson Document Capture Pro” software makes it easy to create an efficient document management system into which WorkForce Pro C869RDTWF can be integrated quickly. Wi-Fi Direct access to the printer and an integrated NFC module make it easy to use the printer with mobile devices. The new WorkForce Pro is also compatible with software packets from external suppliers such as “PaperCut”.
Jörn von Ahlen, Marketing Director, Epson Germany GmbH, says: “WorkForce WF-C869RDTWF is yet another high-performance printing solution by Epson that will help corporate clients to increase productivity, reduce printing costs and at the same time significantly lessen their impact on the environment.
