Epson launches latest Small-in-One models in Middle East

18 December 2011 - Building on the launch of its smallest all-in-one printer earlier this year, Epson has launched new models in the Small-in-One range in the Middle East. At 39 per cent smaller than previous Epson models[1], they offer the opportunity to save space, money and time thanks to their smaller dimensions, individual inks and range of user-friendly features.

The SX430W, SX435W, SX235W and SX230 complete the Small-in-One range, and with their new design and ultra-compact size they complement any modern home environment without taking up too much space.

The SX430W, SX435W and SX235W allow users to print from anywhere around the home, thanks to the automatic Wi-Fi set-up, which makes configuring laptops and computers to print wirelessly extremely easy[2]. Users don’t need to know their network settings or connect with a USB cable, these printers automatically find the relevant connection settings in order to configure themselves.

Epson’s mobile printing service, Epson Connect, offers fantastic flexibility and freedom. Users are able to quickly and easily print their favourite photos and documents wirelessly from smartphones and tablet PCs[3] anywhere in the home.

By using individual ink cartridges, consumers only need to replace the colour used. Independent testing by TÜV Rheinland shows that inkjet printers with individual inks offer up to a 37 percent ink saving[4], compared to those with combined ink cartridges as users only need to replace the colour used.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, “Our Small-in-One range provides consumers with excellent printing flexibility and value for money, factors that are given great importance in the Middle East market. Further, environmentally-consciouscustomers will be pleased to know that these new models are ENERGY STAR-qualified for reduced power consumption and lower energy bills. As Epson’s smallest all-in-ones, packaging has been also been reduced by 25 percent[5], furtherloweringtheir impact on the environment.”
