The EB-L12000Q and EB-L2000U share the same casing – a light, compact design that makes them easy to integrate into existing infrastructure. Both models are also compatible with the same 4K-compatible lenses used by Epson’s EB-L1000-Series projectors, so introducing 4K into your installations needn’t require the additional expense of replacing lenses. Both models also support HDR via both PQ and HLG.

Installation is made easy not just by the compact casing, but also by a design that means these projectors can be installed at and project from any angle, including portrait. A built-in camera allows remote diagnostics and set-up, and can be used in conjunction with Epson’s new Professional Projector Tool software to set up multiple-unit installations, and take advantage of advanced techniques such as edge blending and projection mapping. Additionally, interchangeable interface boards mean greater flexibility and futureproofing for as yet unreleased interfaces and transmission standards.

Thanks to their sealed design and durable inorganic phosphor wheel technology, these new projector models offer outstanding fit and forget reliability, with Epson’s five-year, 20,000-hour warranty, and no lamp replacements, so they can be fitted with confidence even in hard-to-access areas.

Daniel Rose, product manager, Epson Europe, says, “Making the big step into 4K is an important one for Epson, and something we wanted to get right. I think we’ve achieved that with the EB-L12000Q, as it doesn’t just offer incredible resolution but also a host of features the rental and installation sector has demanded, such as backwards lens compatibility and swappable interface boards. The EB-L20000U is equally important for us, as it’s our first entry into the competitive compact 20K WUXGA category, and shares the same features as its 4K sibling, making it very easy to integrate into existing installations.”
