Epson brings high-speed static line-head business inkjets to the mid-market as it gears up for further growth
Addressing the gap in its portfolio, Epson has launched the WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20600 and WF-C20750 static line-head business inkjets with print speeds of 60ppm and 75ppm respectively. These products bring advanced line-head business inkjet technology and production print speeds to the mid-market and general office environment, completing Epson’s portfolio offering.
“With business inkjet expected to account for 40% of the business print market within the next five years1, according to IDC, Epson is taking steps to solidify its position as a market leader. This new line-up addresses a previous gap and better positions us and our channel partners for future growth,” says Darren Phelps, VP of business, Epson Europe. “These new products provide a sustainable, high-speed print solution for organisation within the mid-market, with print demands of around 8,000 pages per month and who have previously not been fully supported by the Epson range.”
Epson has also launched the WorkForce Enterprise WF-C21000, an ultra-high-speed 100ppm multi-function printer for higher print volume requirements. With one of the lowest power consumptions in its class, the WF-C21000 enables a greener print choice, delivering reduced power consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
All new products integrate into existing IT infrastructures and boast low user intervention and high capacity inks; printing up to 100,000 pages in mono or 50,000 in colour without requiring replenishment2 – reducing consumables waste and product downtime. They also offer a range of security features as well as optional finisher units with stacking, stapling, hole punching and folding capability. Epson’s Remote Service (ERS) software makes them easy for the channel to manage through remote diagnostics, reducing the requirement for on-site survicing.
“Companies are under pressure to improve efficiency as well as their eco-credentials and Epson business inkjet is the ideal green choice to help address these challenges - reducing energy use, CO2 emissions and print related waste, all while ensuring maximum quality and productivity,” Phelps continues. “Our portfolio now offers a solution for businesses of any size and with any print volume requirement.”
